Bazaar brings Townsend folks to church to shop

The 2nd Annual St. Francis Catholic Church Bazaar was held on Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Townsend church. The proceeds from this event will benefit both the church and the Blount County Humane Society’s efforts to build a no-kill shelter.

The bazaar had crowds gathered around the White Elephant sale, a lunch cooked on site, a bake sale, raffle, games for children, music by Marty Wade, mountain-style storytelling and a blessing of the animals.
