Farmers’ Market offers fresh taste

The Maryville Farmers’ Market is in full swing in downtown Maryville every Saturday from 9 a.m. to sell-out. The market is located on Church Avenue, near CBBC Bank.

Featuring a collection of produce and East Tennessee products, the market offers seasonal vegetables, fruits, honey, plants, baked goods, cut flowers, free range eggs and meats. This year boasts 32 registered vendors and had 27 vendors with products ready to sell last Saturday.

On Saturday, July 26, the Maryville Fire Department will be at the market to talk about safety. Music will be provided by the Rocky Branch Community Club, Inc.

On Saturday, Aug. 9, the popular Watermelon Day will return, with games for the children and fresh watermelons to taste.

For more information on the market, visit www.maryvillefarmersmarket.com or call 865-984-0954 or 865-684-8378.
